Cut and Seal ultrasonic machine

Two-sided straight cutting and edge sealing or welding of membrane filters and similar materials in the form of plates and panels.

Concept

Transportation belt for panels to be cut to be placed on and fed in. Pressure rollers for the reliable infeed of panels to the ultrasonic cutters. One ultrasonic cut and weld head on left, permanently mounted, with roll sonotrode made of tempered steel and cutting wheel. One ultrasonic cut and weld head on right, laterally adjustable to the desired material width. Transportation belt with pressure roller for removing cut panels.

Performance characteristics

• Machine housing of solid, welded sheet steel and aluminum frame for intake of aggregates

• Welding procedure: 35 kHz, 600 W ultrasonic unit with rotating 7 mm steel sonotrode or 20 mm aluminum sonotrode

• Welding speed:  0.3 – 6 m/min depending on material type

• Regulation of welding performance proportional to welding speed

• 2 differentiable drives for sonotrode and anvil roller

• Weld seam width: Cut&WELD procedure with cutting wheel or direct welding up to a seam width of 20 mm

• Very low energy requirements without power peaks

• Environmentally friendly! No microwaves, no emissions

• Connectors: 1x 230 V 10 A, compressed air 6 bar
