Terms of Service

 In addition to our „General Sales Conditions“ and payment terms the following conditions are applicable for setup, commissioning, maintenance, inspection and repair work by our service staff:

1. Working time

The duration of the standard working time is based on the legal and tariff regulations of the Federal Republic of Germany unless otherwise expressly agreed.
The standard working time is defined from Monday to Friday 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week including working, travelling and waiting hours.
Overtime hours might be agreed by taking legal regulations into account. However, it is not supposed to exceed 10 hours daily or 50 hours weekly.
The purchaser is obliged to obtain official authorization - if required.

2. Cost rates

2.1 Hourly wage rates

The following hourly wage rates will be charged for working and waiting times of our service staff:

a) Mechanic 75,00 EUR  Travelling time 70,00 EUR
b) Service technician 100,00 EUR  Travelling time 90,00 EUR
c) Programmer 110,00 EUR  Travelling time 100,00 EUR
d) Engineer 150,00 EUR  Travelling time 120,00 EUR

Each commenced ¼ of an hour will be charged.

2.2 Group travel

If our technical staff consecutively executes different jobs at various customers, the travel costs will be split among the different purchasers according to our best discretion.

2.3 Travel expenses

a) for the use of company-owned vehicle: Charges of 0,90 EUR per kilometre 
b) train journeys, flights, taxi, public transport will charged on the basis of the actual expenses occurring. 

2.4 Overtime surcharges

The below percentaged surcharges will be invoiced for overtime work exceeding standard tariff working hours:

a) for service jobs on Mondays...Fridays 25 % 
b) for service jobs on Saturdays 50 % 
c) for service jobs on Sundays 100 % 
d) for service jobs on Public Holidays 200 % 
e) for nightwork from 8:00 p.m - 06.00 a.m. 50 % 

2.5 Board and accommodation charges (expense allowance)
The daily allowance will be charged per calendar day and per person:

a) National

 8–24 hrs.  12,00 EUR 
 24 hrs.  24,00 EUR 
 Accommodation allowance based on actual expenses 

b) International

The expenses for board and accommodation will be charged according to the applicable fiscal guidelines.
The above mentioned charge rates do not include VAT.

3. Warranty

The warranty is 12 months from date of delivery. Place of fulfillment: 66871 Konken

4. General information

a) We would ask you to assist our technician during the service job. It needs to be guaranteed that our technician can instantly start with the assembly upon his arrival.
b) After finalization of the service job we kindly ask you to check the correct condition of the machine. By signing the service report you confirm the proper execution of the assembly and the number of required working hours.
c) The service technician is not entitled to execute technical modifications at the machine on your request, in any case this needs to be agreed and authorized by the company TFT first.
d) Furthermore the service technician is not eligible to make agreements or to put out legally binding declarations on behalf of the company TFT.

e) Potential complaints have to be made in written form within (8) days after receipt of our invoice at the latest, otherwise we cannot accept them anymore. Should you notice any violation or blunder of our service staff please contact us immediately (phone, fax or email).

5. Place of jurisdiction

The place of jurisdiction for both parties is Kaiserslautern/Germany.
